Bucharest I’m coming !!!

This Saturday and Sunday   at the Hotel Ambassador (Blvd Magheru, no. 8-10) in Bucharest  my friends Diana Enciu and Alina Tanasa have organized a massive event : The Absolutely Faboulus Fashion& Vintage Fair. And I can’t wait not only because I am going to attend but moreover because I am going to see them!!

The Absolutely Fabulous Fashion & Vintage Fair includes  over 40 exhibitors: young designers and authentic vintage glam accessories shops.

Mariana Marche ,a really talented fashion illustrator, will attend too and it’s going to be supported by Glamour Romania , In Style and Avon.

So .. Ne vedem la Absolutely Faboulous Fair!

Melis Yildiz

Melis Yildiz Paciotti is a Turkish born, Italy based young fashion designer.
In 2010 she successfully completed her masters in fashion and got double degree from Domus Academy and the masters of arts awarded in collaboration with the University of Wales in UK. Thereafter, Melis had some internship experiences with well-known italian fashion brands such as Alessandro Dell’Acqua’s N.21 and Gianni Barbato before launching her own Italy-based shoe and bag line “Melis Yildiz”.

 

“Melis Yildiz” is a luxury shoe and accessories brand founded in 2012 by Melis Yildiz Paciotti.  The designs of Melis Yildiz are inspired by the self-confident women who are aware that they are intensely desirable because of their power, attitudes and unique personal styles.

Met Ball 2013

In the occasion of the exhibition Punk to couture chaos, yesterday in New York was held  the Met Ball which  has become the most important red carpet more than the Oscars and Cannes. The theme, obviously referring to the exhibition,  was the Punk Chic: I think only few celebrities have managed to be amazing  without falling into bad taste. Some stylists should be locked up in an asylum and others rewarded with praise.

Greetings from Malta

I haven’t posted  last week because, as mentioned before , i spent a short relaxing holidayin Malta. I recommend it  to visit the island, despite its small size, it offers many opportunities: a wonderful sea (Paradise Bay is a must), gorgeous weather, shopping (Valletta and St. Julian – mainly British high street shops), casinos (I havent lost any money!! ), nightclubs, monuments (Mdina, the silent city, is suggestive). The Maltese people are very hospitable, always available and smiling with tourists and the local food is similar to the Italian while driving is on the right: in short, the island is a mixture of Italian , Arabic and English culture(it was the former colony ). The only sore point, I would not recommend going there in July and August:  too many people!
